Average Weddings ‘Cost £15,000’

In fact, the Hitched study discovered that honeymoons are where a lot of you are spending their cash, with couples setting aside more than 20% of their budget for their first trip away as man and wife – and the most popular style emerging as a romantic beach honeymoon for the fourth year in a row, preferred by 38% of couples. “With so many incredible destinations on offer around the world, it doesn’t surprise me that wedding planning couples are choosing to spend more money on this once in a lifetime holiday,” site editor Francesca Cribb remarked. If you’re thinking of booking a beach honeymoon, you should definitely think about your destination seriously as there are so many great places to choose from.
