75% Of Couples ‘Organising Entire Wedding Online’

An increasing number of happy couples are choosing to book their Indian wedding video providers and other wedding essentials online, rather than hunting down providers in person, it would seem. New research from wedding suit company Dobell has found that 75 per cent of brides and grooms are now booking everything on the internet because it’s quicker and less stressful, the Western Daily Press reports. With venues, it’s no longer necessary to go and see the site in question in person because 360 degree video tours are now widely available online, while suits and dresses can be bought from specialist companies and then altered to fit at a later date – saving everyone time and money. What’s more, 87 per cent of honeymooners book their trips directly through travel sites. Head of marketing with Dobell Keith White said: “It’s unsurprising in this digital age that so many couples are utilising the web to book their entire wedding. We believe this trend is growing because it is generally far [quicker and more] convenient to book something online – and therefore far less stressful.” Of course, you should still try and meet with your wedding videographer and photographer in person so you can see if they’re a good fit for you and your wedding. Make sure you do your research properly and watch as many of their videos as you can so you can get a feel for their individual style.
